『太陽を射るもの』のデジタル作業で感じること(2)

　アマゾンのフランス語版を眺めてみたら、フランス語版の『死線を越えて』が売られていることが分かった。フランス語は分からないが以下のようなことになっていることをお伝えしたい。賀川の著作は『Brotherhood Economics』が25カ国で発売されているほか、翻訳が多い。スエーデン語など北欧語やバルト３国系の言語にも翻訳されている。これらを網羅するだけでも面白い結果が出ると思うのだが・・・。つなみに『死線を越えて』の英語訳は初めは『Across the Deathline』として出版されたが、表現がよくないということで後にタイトルを『Before the Dawn』（George H. Doran company, 1924）に変更されたそうだ。（伴　武澄）
　Toyohiko Kagawa, Shisen wo koete (Tokyo: Kaizosha, 1920) was quickly translated into English, by Ichiji Fukumoto and Thomas Satchell, as Across the Death-Line (Kobe: Japan Chronicle Office, 1922). A slightly revised version of their initial translation was soon published in the United States under the title, Before the Dawn (New York: George H. Doran, 1924)

　タイトルの「L'Archer tirant contre le soleil」をexiteの翻訳サイトで日本語に訳すと「太陽に対して引いている弓術家」と出た。
